My storage hero fundamentals:

My Storage Hero is your single-source solution for all your storage needs. We pick-up, store and deliver your items, all at your convenience. Our alternative storage solution removes the hassle of traditional storage solutions. No need to call in favors from muscle-bound friends with trucks, we have a Hero for you!
How is My Storage Hero different?
  1. Our crews (we like to call them heroes) – Unlike other storage companies, our crews are professionally trained to move furniture and other items, they are drug tested and background checked before they are assigned to assist a customer. You can feel comfortable that our team members are safe to be in your home.
  2. Our facilities – Your items are stored in facilities that we own. They are clean, climate controlled, pest free, with security monitoring, police and fire protection, in flood-free zones and fully-fenced perimeter at each facility.

We believe that your goods, and the items we store for you, are important. And, if they are important to you, they are important to us! We have the people, the resources and the facilities to make sure that not only is our service easy to use, but your goods are safe and secure.

PICK- UP AND STORAGE
How does this work?

SH makes storage solutions simple and easy. You pack the cartons, clean the furniture that you would like us to store, place them in the garage or close to the front door and we’ll take it from there! We do require that all small and non-furniture items be packed in a box. When you need a delivery of all or just part of your items, you can request a delivery online or call us to schedule a delivery.

Is there anything that I cannot store?

Yes, we cannot store perishable items; no food, spices, liquids, flammables, combustibles, aerosol cans, gasoline, propane tanks, explosives,ammunition, guns, collectibles (stamp collections, card collections, etc.), jewelry and any illegal substances recognized by the U.S. Government.

Is there a per item weight limit?

Yes, individual items need to be 40 lbs. or less, we can and will pick up heavier items for an additional fee.

Do you provide packing services?

Yes! Upon request and prior notice we can pack items for you. We will supply the materials and the expertise to pack items you cannot for a per carton packing fee.

Can you ship items that are stored?

Yes! We can ship items that are stored with us and also have the ability and resources to assist relocate items domestically in the U.S. and around the world! There is a minimum shipment size and weight on moves in the State of Texas and in the U.S.

SCHEDULING A STORAGE PICK-UP/DELIVERY
What days and Hours can I have a pick-up?

We are open and available six days a week, Monday through Saturday from 8am – 5pm.

When will I know when my items will be picked up or delivered?

The day prior to your scheduled pick up or delivery, our team will reach out with a courtesy call to you, confirming all information and providing a two-hour pick-up or delivery window for your items.

How much notice do you need?

Pick-up and delivery requests can be accommodated with 36-48 hours’ notice. We may be able to accommodate within 24 hours depending on availability of our crews and team members.

Can I deliver and pick-up items myself?

With safety of our customers and the security of our facilities in mind, we would prefer not to have customer’s deliver and pick-up items from our facility.

Stuff already being stored with us and need to schedule a delivery out?

PRICING
How much do I have to pay for this service?

Your items will be stored in industry standard storage vaults, the dimension of each vault is approximately 5 ft. wide x 7.50 ft. deep x 7.50 ft.tall. We charge based on the number of storage vaults that are used, as well as a nominal pick-up and delivery fee. We keep our costs reasonable and transparent, no hidden or extra surprises. What if I have my items delivered in the middle of the month? Do I pay for the entire month?

No, we pro-rate storage charges for only the days that you have your items in storage?

Can I add and have items delivered over time?

Yes! You can add and take items from your storage account, normal pick-up and delivery charges apply.

Is there a long-term commitment?

No, there are no long-term commitments with MSH. We do have a three-month minimum requirement for short term storage. If your items are retrieved prior to the three-month period, we would charge the balance to the credit card on file.
